Restorative Dentistry

Rebuild your health and confidence

Teeth experience wear and tear just like the rest of our bodies. But because teeth don’t regenerate, they benefit from professional assistance as we age. Factors like grinding, tooth decay, gum disease, and injuries can contribute to tooth damage. If you find yourself struggling to keep your mouth healthy or feeling self-conscious about a worn smile, schedule a consultation to discuss your restorative dental options.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full mouth rehab restores your smile from the ground up, with equal attention given to dental health and aesthetics. This typically involves a group of procedures, with a treatment plan formed around your unique needs. Any of the treatments mentioned on this page may play a role. Full mouth rehab is an involved process with a series of steps, and we will develop a plan that suits your needs, goals, budget and schedule. Our team is your ally throughout – and you will adore the results.

Dental Implants

Implants are titanium screws that fuse with the jaw bone. They are then paired with a restoration to fully replace a missing tooth. Implants are an exciting technology that transform the patient experience, so that you experience the stability of a natural, free-standing tooth. Implants don’t draw on the strength of other teeth like bridges, and they don’t have the stability issues of dentures. If you’re interested in restoring teeth as comprehensively as possible, an implant is the right decision.

Bridges

A bridge consists of two crowns on either side of a pontic, a false tooth. These crowns are placed on remaining teeth to fill a gap left by a missing tooth. A bridge can be an ideal option for one or several missing teeth in one span. It is a lower-cost option than an implant and has a straightforward treatment process.

Crowns

A crown is a cap that fits over your natural tooth. A crown can rebuild a single tooth, or a set of crowns can restore your entire smile. Dr. Patel may recommend crowns if you have teeth that have experienced pronounced decay, long-term grinding that has caused significant wear, experienced an accident / physical damage to your teeth, or had a root canal and need to strengthen the tooth going forward. Porcelain crowns blend with your smile seamlessly to look and feel natural.

Dentures

Dentures are sets of false teeth that connect to your jaw through denture adhesive or implants. You can receive full or partial dentures depending on how many teeth you are missing. Dentures can also be paired with implants to lend additional stability.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays are similar to fillings, but are fabricated in a dental lab out of porcelain rather than being shaped and hardened chairside. They are appropriate for treating cavities on different surfaces of the tooth.
